CRIMES REPORTED

Jutatip Sridee, 39, of 3 Cherokee Court reported to the Clark County Sheriff's Office at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday that someone has been making harassing phone calls to her home and mobile phones.

Winchester Police received a report from John Justice, 80, of 108 S. Main St. No. 406 at 11 a.m. Tuesday that a known female forged a $200 check from his account.

Winchester Police responded to an accidental shooting at 15 Taylor Ave. at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday. Joseph D. Wilson, 33, suffered a single gunshot wound to his upper right leg and was transported by air to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Wilson told police that he did not know how the gun went off and he had not intended to fire the weapon.

The father of a juvenile reported to Winchester Police at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday that an adult threatened his son with bodily harm after he got into a fight with another juvenile.

SUSPECTS CHARGED

Melissa A. Dunn, 33, of 250 Oxford Drive No. 28 was charged by Winchester Police on Wednesday with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to surrender a suspended operator's license.

TRAFFIC MISHAPS

A vehicle operated by Alvie R. Holt of 809 Celia Lane was traveling north on the Bypass, slowing at a stoplight, when it struck the rear of a vehicle driven by John H. Tyminski of 29 Churchill Drive at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday, according to Winchester Police.

A vehicle driven by Eric Dutton of 1308 Dale Drive struck a vehicle operated by James South of 345 Hanover Drive at 6:49 p.m. Wednesday. South was stopped in traffic. No injuries were reported, according to Winchester Police.

FIRE/EMS RUNS

The Clark County Fire Department responded to a lawn mower on fire next to a residence at 2415 Donaldson Road at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The fire was extinguished and no damage was reported.

Winchester Fire-EMS personnel performed seven evaluations and responded to one fall, one gunshot wound, two cardiac calls and one respiratory call.
