To The Sun:
Earlier this year, I read in The Sun that Rick Catron was opposing Perry for the school board seat he held. The correction was not noticed by myself or by many of the constituents in the 4th District, as Judy Hicks is finding out over and over again. Judy is the school board member that Catron is challenging.
Then last week, The Sun did it again just as the two candidates probably felt they were making headway in correcting the first mistake.
Another mistake was not checking with the County Clerk's Office across the street to see who was running for office. They have the correct list since that is where the candidates have to file. To blame it on the Central Office employee is an excuse, not a reason. Maybe, the Central Office emloyee's excuse is that she read it in The Winchester Sun.
