Anna M. Teater, 88, of Beech Street, Danville, died Monday, Oct. 9 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
A native of Jessamine Co., she was born Tuesday, Dec. 18, 1917 to the late Lige and Laura Hopkins Anderson. She was a homemaker, member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church, widow of Forrest Teater, and enjoyed working and volunteering at the Danville Senior Citizens Center.
She was also preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Gene (Faye) Teater of Winchester and George Riley (Cecilia) Teater of Danville; two daughters, Judy Kay (Gary) Cummins of Perryville and Patricia Ann (Ronnie) Lamb of Moreland; seven grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home in Danville with Bro. Ben Curtis officiating. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery.
