Classes

Growing, Preparing and Cooking with Herbs - at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at Garrard County Extension Service office. Join Nature's Thyme Herb Group of Garrard County and learn the basics of growing herbs to use in cooking. Recipes will be demonstrated and taste testing will be a part of the class. Patti Meads, horticulture extension agent in Woodford County, and Mary Hixson, Garrard County FCS extension agent, will be the instructors. Cost is $7 and participants must pre-register at the extension office by Oct. 23.
