A joint meeting of the Kentucky House and Senate Appropriations and Revenue Committees will be held in Winchester on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive.

Between sessions of the General Assembly, field hearings are sometimes held for the budget committee at locations outside Frankfort.

Rep. Don Pasley, D-Winchester, a member of the committee, said in a press release it is coming to Winchester to "highlight the accomplishments of our community." He said the budget committee rarely travels to locations outside the State Capitol.
