LEXINGTON - The Lexington Opera House presents "Jesus Christ Superstar," the Tony-nominated musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. "Superstar" tells the story of the final seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth - Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, the unrest caused by his preaching and popularity, his betrayal by Judas, the trial before Pontius Pilate and the crucifixion. LEXINGTON - The Explorium is hosting Parents' Night Out, with the Lexington Opera House. IBP BOOK SALE
LEXINGTON - The International Book Project will host its annual fall book sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the IBP Warehouse, 1440 Delaware Ave. The sale will feature thousands of books, covering a variety of fiction and non-fiction genres. Choose from mysteries, thrillers, classic and contemporary literature, biographies, cookbooks, gardening books and more. Children's books and home school resources will also be available. All books inside will be half-off. Books outside will be $2 per bag. Plastic grocery bags will be provided. The sale will go rain or shine.
