It's almost time for trick or treat in downtown Winchester!Halloween Main-IA will be taking place this year from 6 until 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
Trick or treaters will begin at The Winchester Sun by picking up their candy bags.
South Main Street from Lexington Avenue to Broadway and North Main from Broadway to Washington Street will be closed for approximately 1,300 trick or treaters expected downtown.
Lynn Toler will be playing music on the courthouse steps, and more than 50 people will be setting up downtown to give away candy.
This is expected to be the biggest Halloween Main-IA ever in Winchester, according to Lara Early, Winchester First director.
In addition to the candy give-aways, Bailey's Caf, Big Al's and Subway will be open for business during the festivities.
