Weddings for Oct. 29

Gastineau-Frisby

Sarah Elizabeth Gastineau and Mitchell Wade Frisby were married Sept. 16 at Southern Hospitality Center in Moreland by the Rev. Bill Pelfrey of Waynesburg.

Debbie Johnson, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katelynn Griffin of Crab Orchard and Christine Gastineau of Batavia, Ohio.

A memorial candle and picture of the late Gene Martin of Moreland served in lieu of a best man. Groomsmen were Bill Frisby Lane of Hustonville, brother of the groom, and Christopher Johnson of Eubank.

After a reception, the couple made a wedding trip to Cincinnati.

The bride is the daughter of Lindell and Linda Gastineau of Eubank. She is a 2006 graduate of Lincoln County High School and employed at Shoe Sensation in Danville.

The groom is the son of Edna Lane of Moreland. He is a 2005 graduate of Lincoln County High School and employed by Wausau Paper Co. in Harrodsburg.

They live in the Maxey Valley Community of Casey County.

Nagel-Harper

Crystal Michelle Nagel and Colby Lee Harper were married Sept. 30 in Harrodsburg by Larry Peyton.

Megan Nagel of Burgin served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Gregorich of Goose Creek, S.C., and Erica Key of Hanahan, S.C. Peyton Gregorich of Goose Creek was flowergirl.

Matt Turner of Nicholasville as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Armstrong of Harrodsburg and Mike Daniels of Frankfort. Cameron Nagel of Burgin was ringbearer.

After a reception, the couple made a wedding trip to Chicago.

The bride is the daughter of Faye Reid of Hanahan, S.C. She is a 1993 graduate of Hanahan High School.

The groom is the son of Ken and Carol Harper of Harrodsburg. He is a 1993 graduate of Mercer County High School and an employee of Ryder Logistics.

They live in Burgin.

King-Phillips

Kathryn Jean King and Bryan Christopher Phillips were married June 10 at the Louis E. May Museum in Fremont, Neb., by the Rev. David Lindsey.

Veronica Stickney of Omaha, Neb., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Molly King of Valdosta, Ga., Nikki King of Fremont, Heather King of Washington, D.C., and Becky Johnson of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Kaylynne Phillips of Stanford was flowergirl.

Keith Phillips of Stanford was best man. Groomsmen were Ben Costley of Washington, D.C., Michael Seagraves and Jordan Smallwood, both of Lexington, and Travis Stannard of Bloomington, Ind.

After a reception at the Holiday Lodge in Fremont, the couple made a wedding trip to Austin, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Pam King of Fremont. She is a 1998 graduate of Fremont High School and a 2002 summa cum laude graduate of Webster University of St. Louis. She is a personal trainer at City Fitness.

The groom is the son of Debbie Johnson of Junction City and James Reynolds of Nicholasville. He is a 1997 graduate of Boyle County High School and a 2001 graduate of Centre College. He is a member of Phi Kappa Tau. He is a vice president of software development at AetherQuest Solutions.

They live in Washington, D.C.
