Clark County Girl Scouts held a Brownie Day for Brownies and their fathers Saturday at Camp Richard Clark. Senior Troop No. 282 was in charge of the program and Senior Scouts Kim Davis and Charla Hylton taught songs to the Brownie Scouts and their fathers.

The Clark County Board of Education voted Thursday night to authorize Supt. Willis Justice and Assist. Supt. Robert Campbell to go to Washington, D.C. to meet with the U.S. Education Secretary Terell Bell in an effort to obtain federal funds to help with school building needs.

Melanie G. Isaacs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Isaacs, Winchester, has enrolled as a freshman at Asbury College, Wilmore.

The Kentucky Real Estate Commission has announced that David M. McLemore, Frank Brown Realty, was among applicants for a broker's or salesperson's license passing the Real Estate Examination recently in Louisville.

Central School PTA officers for the 1981-82 school year were introduced by Co-President Mrs. Lorraine Hudson at a recent PTA meeting. New officers are Mrs. Barbara Durkin, co-president; Mrs. Bonnie Hummel, president-elect; Mrs. Maxine Vice, vice president; Mrs. Barbara Hisle, secretary, and Mrs. Florence Reed, treasurer.

The Winchester Lioness Club met recently at the Western Sizzlin' Steak House. A devotion was given by Billie Freedman and an auction was conducted by Wilma Ballard and Mona Hall was inducted as a new member.
