Rick McQuerry has served as magistrate in the first district for the past two years. He has the qualifications and has shown the ability to deserve election to a full term. Rick has trained and worked successfully in business management for a number of years. He knows how to plan and work within a budget. He knows how to manage people. These are strong qualifications for a magistrate.
Rick has the service attitude we deserve in a magistrate. He worked hard to get the convenience center we need in our district and drove out of his way weekly to check on the progress during its construction. Rick has worked hand-in-hand with Mike Harmon to secure road construction funds for our district. He freely gives out his phone number and quickly responds if a constituent has a problem. Rick is the first magistrate I have ever had who called after a snowstorm to check on road conditions in my end of the county.
