My name is Jayme Phillips, and I am seeking election to the office of Lincoln County Clerk. Your support to put me into this position would be greatly appreciated.
My experience through 18 years in real estate and running my business has given me a good foundation to fill this position. I will also work closely with the current staff to learn the many aspects of this office. While there, I plan to visit other county clerk's offices to insure that this office is doing everything possible to serve the people in this county with the most up-to-date technology and services. For example, the convenience of registering your vehicle and paying your vehicle property tax over the internet. I am fully aware that your time is valuable and through working closely with you, I will make your visit to the County Clerk's office as fast and pleasant as possible. Lincoln County is rich with history, which is evident in the records that are maintained by this office. I will work diligently to preserve and protect these irreplaceable records. The scanning of these records into the computer system will continue so that the documents can be reviewed and retrieved by computer or by hand.
