BASKETBALL

Thursday-Friday - Upward Basketball and Cheerleading registration at Buena Vista Baptist Church in Buena Vista.

Registration open 6-8:30 p.m. for age 4-grade 8.

Dec. 2 - Boyle County Youth Basketball Camp at Boyle County High School.

Camp 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for boys and girls grades K-6. Fee $25, includes T-shirt. Entry deadline Nov. 28.

Dec. 3, 10 - Wilderness Trace Family YMCA Skills & Drills Clinic.

For ages 8-9. Fee $25 members, $40 non-members. Entry deadline Friday.

* Registration open for Danville-Boyle County Parks & Recreation Department youth basketball and cheerleading at Davis Recreation Center.

Basketball for boys kindergarten through high school and girls kindergarten through middle school, cheerleading for girls grades K-6. Fees $35 basketball, $40 cheerleading, $10 discount for additional family members.

Saturday - Leadership Shelby Turkey Trot in Shelbyville.

5-mile race begins 9 a.m. at Shelby County Fairgrounds. Fee $25.

Registration begins 8 a.m.; race begins 9 a.m. at Renfro Valley Entertainment Center. Fee $12 through Dec. 6, $15 race day.
