Centre College field hockey players Beth Faulkner and Emily Boyle have been named to the 2006 National Field Hockey Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Great Lakes All-Region team.
Faulkner, a junior back who scored four goals and eight points, was named to the first team while Boyle, a sophomore back, made second team.
"Both Emily and Beth have had fantastic seasons improving after every game. Both of these girls deserved their selections to the Great Lakes Region Team," Centre coach Kimberly Hughes said. "They have both worked hard to continue to improve and have obviously made an impression on the other teams within the region."
The two players led Centre to a 9-7 overall record.
