Someone apparently threw a rock through a window and caused more than $700 in damage. Mills was out of town when the mischief occurred on Nov. 1. No other damage was found, according to a report by Deputy Sheriff Chad Weddle.
Two arrested on traffic charges
LIBERTY - Two people were arrested Saturday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and driving on a suspended license, police said.
Gerald Compton, 37, of 1147 Dry Creek Road, was charged with DUI, third offense; and driving without a license, second offense. He was arrested on Dry Creek Road by Deputy Chad Weddle.
Ricky Peyton, 19, of 24 Trusty Road, Hustonville, was charged with DUI, under 21 years old while sitting in his vehicle on Ky. 906 North, Weddle said.
Both were lodged in Casey County Detention Center.
Police have suspect in equipment theft
LIBERTY - Casey County Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate the theft of equipment that occurred in September at C-ville Fabricating Co. in Clementsville, Deputy Chad Weddle said.
He said the sheriff's office has a suspect that will be charged with theft by unlawful taking of more than $1,000 in equipment from the business, owned by Tarter Gate Co.
A Makita angle grinder and several T-post drivers and potato plows have been recovered in Lincoln County at various times and places since the theft was reported, according to Weddle.
