FRED COMBS JR.

Fred Combs Jr., 37, of 401 N. Maple St., Apt. 2, husband of Jennifer Nielsen Combs, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday at his home.

A native of Fayette County, he was the son of Fred Combs Sr. of Winchester and the late Ina Scarbrough Combs and the stepson of Belinda Combs of Winchester. He was an employee of the Kentucky-Indiana Lumber Company of Lexington.

Other survivors include a son, Christopher Nielsen of Nicholasville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Julie and Kevin Clark and Heather Combs, all of Winchester; a brother, John Combs of Winchester; a stepsister, Jennie Kay Thomas of Winchester; a stepbrother, Eddie Ashcraft of Winchester; a stepgrandmother, Loraine McCuddy of Winchester; six nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Ed Mesta. Burial will be in the Boonesboro Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be George Fraley, Mike Pickard, Doug Scarbrough, David Pittman, Steven Duncan and Lonnie Ashcraft. Honorary pallbearers will be Stan Story and Steven Powell.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service.

MILDRED L. ROSE

Services for Mildred L. Rose, 63, of 365 Apple St., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Scobee Funeral home by Bro. Carroll Ratliff. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.

Rose, a retired licensed practical nurse, died at 12:40 a.m. Monday at her home.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 tonight.

MADELLA J. STAMPER

Madella Jean Stamper, 70, of Titusville, Fla., widow of Ernest Stamper, died Sunday.

A native of Morgan County, she moved to central Florida in 1972.

Survivors include three sisters, Norma Sallee, Lavene Hedger and Ella M. Ramsey; two brothers, Gordon Peyton and Danford Peyton; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Scobee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Oviedo Chapel, 501 East Mitchell Hammock Road, Oviedo, Fla., and at the Scobee Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
