LOUISVILLE - Monica Vonderbrink had 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists and point guard Alison Denbow pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds Wednesday as the Centre College women earned a 69-55 road win at Spalding University.
"We had a great game tonight from a lot of people tonight," Centre coach Wendie Austin-Robinson said. "We had an outstanding game from Monica. And Rebecca Rhule was playing out of position in the post, but had a good game (2-for-2 3-pointers, 15 points, four rebounds).
Vonderbrink nailed three of six 3-pointers as Centre (3-4) was 10-for-23 from behind the arc and 24-for-65 overall (36.9 percent).
Chrystal Claunch was 2-for-3 from 3-point range and finished with 14 points, three assists and four steals and Lauren Clontz finished with a game-high five assists. Centre led 34-22 at the half.
Spalding (0-10) was 19-for-52 from the field (36.5 percent), and was led in scoring by Allie Graves' 15 points.
