Will DeVary, a first-grade student in New Albany, Ind., recently received the city's Cub Scout of the Year award. He was chosen from Cub Scouts in first through fifth grade.
DeVary was recognized at the annual awards banquet honoring Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Eagle Scouts and Ranger Scouts in New Albany.
He is the son of Coby DeVary of Lexington and the grandson of Blackie and Mary George DeVary of Winchester.
