Kenneth Price, 68, of Fox Chase Drive, Danville, died today. Arrangements are pending at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home.

William Dunsmore, 72, of Russell Springs, formerly of Boyle County, died Tuesday. Arrangements are pending at Wilder Funeral Home.

Stephen G. Falso

1947-2007

Stephen Gerald Falso, 59, of Third Street, Junction City, died Sunday at his home.

Born May 29, 1947, in Cortland, N.Y., he was a son of the late Patrick J. and Eleanor Cassin Falso. He was a musician and of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his sons, Patrick Falso of Homer, N.Y., Paul Falso of Surfside Beach, S.C., and Albert Falso of Oak Island, N.C.; a daughter, Megan Falso of Cortland, N.Y.; a sister, Helen Falso of Junction City; and seven grandchildren.

No services are scheduled.

CASEY

Gary L. Johnson

1954-2007

LIBERTY - Gary L. Johnson, 52, of Columbia, died Monday at Westlake Regional Hospital.

Born Nov. 1, 1954, in Liberty, he was a son of Hazel Patterson Johnson of Columbia and the late Clyde L. Johnson. He was a former forklift operator with Wurth Service Supply.

Other survivors include a sister, Margaret Huff of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bartle Funeral Home with burial in McKinney Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Janis M. Phillippe

1935-2007

LIBERTY - Janis M. Phillippe, 71, of Grove Ridge Community, died Monday at Casey County Hospital.

Born July 17, 1935, in Waynesburg, he was a son of the late Jacob and Mae Owens Phillippe. He was a retired teacher and principal, a member of Middleburg Baptist Church and an ordained deacon. He was a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Watts Phillippe; a daughter, Lisa (Steven) Peek of Kings Mountain; two grandchildren, Shane Russell Peek and Kendra Nicole Peek, both of Kings Mountain; four sisters, Gladys Emerson of Liberty, Orpha Godbey of Owenton, Beulah Williams of Middleburg and Norma Jean Ashley of Eubank; two brothers, Jesse Phillippe of Versailles, Ind., and the Rev. J.R. Phillippe of Clay City. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Bess Mandel.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Middleburg Baptist Church by the Revs. Curtis Brock and Chris Dalton. Burial will be in Grove Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Russell Rodgers, Randy and Ricky Watts, Daniel Rigney, Harold Wilson and P.D. Lanham. Honorary pallbearers are Cecil Hatter, Bobbie Caron, Dean Rigney, Melvin Cravens, Harold Buis, Robert Austin, William Shoopman, Billie and Jared Watts, John Peek, Steve Roach, Ronald Allen, Tommy and Wayne Jankowski, S.N. Neal, Bro. Hershel Luttrell and Bro. Onva Hayes.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Thursday at Middleburg Baptist Church.

LINCOLN

Lloyd A. Brown

1921-2007

STANFORD - Lloyd Alfred Brown, 85, of Stanford, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Dec. 19, 1921, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Morris and Ella Menifee Brown. He was a farmer and carpenter, and a World War II veteran. He also was a member of Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Martha Brown of Stanford; two daughters, Peggy Ray of South Fork and Paula Terry of McKinney; a brother, Joseph "Jack" Brown of Stanford; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Kenneth and Raymond Brown; a sister, Edith Blankenship; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Fox Funeral Home by G.W. Smith and Gary King. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Godbey, Josh and Aaron Brown, and Russell, Tommy and Buddy Schuler.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.

Larry Johnson

1955-2007

STANFORD - Larry Johnson, 51, of New Salem, died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born March 5, 1955, in Stanford, he was a son of the late Harold and Mable Snow Johnson. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Local 369 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Harlene Johnson; three sons, Maynard Hoskins (Anna), Kerry Hoskins (Sarah) and Bernie Hoskins (Tammy), all of Geneva; a daughter, Sharlot Brown (Randy) of Green River; five brothers, Charles Johnson of Campbellsville, L.C. Johnson of Middleburg, Roger Lopez of Danville, Roger Johnson of Niceville, Fla., and Vernon Johnson of Junction City; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Green River Pentecostal Church by the Revs. Tim Brown and Matt Jones. Burial will be in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Doug Curlin, David Fry, Jimmy Ernest, Jimmy Taylor, Danny Coffman, Roger Adams, Ronald Napier and Mike Benedict.

Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Hoskins, Kerry Wayne Foley, Daniel Brown, Joseph Brown, Justin Hoskins and Jason Hoskins.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at the church.

Spurlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth G. Mitchell

HEBRON - Elizabeth Gibbs Mitchell, 92, of Hebron, died Jan. 20.

She was a homemaker, a member of Dover Baptist Church and the widow of Woodroe S. Mitchell.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Mitchell of Hebron and Ann S. Nichols of Danville; a brother, William Gibbs of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and two grandchildren.

Services are private.

Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
