Stanford man charged with endangerment

STANFORD - A Lincoln County man waived his right to be indicted by a grand jury and was charged in a legal document called an information filed by prosecutor Eddy Montgomery.

Billy Gene Robinson, 43, of 104 N. Second St., Stanford, is charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

He is accused of endangering Marie Robinson and Christopher Patten on Dec. 25.

The grand jury issued indictments against the following:

* Sean P. Carey, 32, of 122 Portman Ave., Stanford, charged with receiving stolen property. He is accused of having property belonging to Cutting Edge Landscapes on Nov. 10.

State Trooper H.P. Blanton was the grand jury witness. Carey will be arraigned Friday in Lincoln Circuit Court.

* Dan T. Angel, 46, of 103 Balasa Drive, Danville; Ronda Stover, 35, of 147 Brookview Road, Stanford; and Virginia N. Thomas, 18, of 772 Rice Lane, Stanford, charged with theft by unlawful taking more than $300. They are accused of taking property from Stanford Wal-Mart on Aug. 29.

Chad Smith of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was the grand jury witness. The defendants will be arraigned Feb. 23.

* Ronald Raider, 60, of Orlando, Ky., was named in two separate indictments charging him with theft by deception.

He is accused of giving Arvin and Pauline Abner a false impression about building a garage in July. Pauline Abner was the grand jury witness.

He also is accused of giving Steven Bullock a false impression about building a pole barn between March 9 and April 21. Bullock was the grand jury witness.

Raider will be arraigned Feb. 23. Bond was set at $25,000 cash or property.

* Pamela McClure, 45, of Stanford, charged with theft by unlawful taking more than $300. She is accused of taking property from Stanford Wal-Mart on Sept. 18.

Trooper Blanton was the grand jury witness. McClure will be arraigned Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 - 10 percent cash.
