The Rev. Beth Garrod-Logsdon officially took over as pastor at Wilmore Presbyterian Church on Feb. 1.
She received a unanimous vote from the congregation on Dec. 31.
"I am excited about continuing to use my gifts of preaching and teaching in a multigenerational setting - a congregation that encourages all, from the youngest to the oldest, to be involved in worship, fellowship and study," Logsdon said. "Leading an engaging and meaningful time of worship is very important to me. Worship is something we do, not just some place we go."
Logsdon holds a bachelors degree in English and secondary education with a minor in religion from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Lousiville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
She was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament of the Presbyterian Church in 2001.
Logsdon comes to the area with her husband, Joshua.
She is the 25th pastor in the church's history.
