Two downtown buildings vandalized

Two downtown buildings were vandalized last week by someone using spray paint.

Graffiti was written on the back door and chair lift at the Community Arts Center at Fourth and Main streets and on a building on Main Street west of the center.

Wilma Brown, executive director of the center, said black spray paint was used on the Arts Center to paint the initials MC on the door.

Faces and names were painted near the top of the building next door owned by Madar Bux. She said large faces and names were painted in different colors on the Bux building.
