HARRODSBURG - Authorities are asking for help in locating an armed robber and people involved in the theft of copper pipe taken from newly-constructed houses.
Mercer County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery Jan. 20 at Bill's Market in Salvisa. The robber fled with $1,450 from the store. The suspect is a white male about 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

Harrodsburg police are looking for thieves who turn off the water at the meter, then go under the house and cut out the copper plumbing pipes. They also have entered stock barns and stripped the electrical wiring.
