Catlett and Pape wed in May

Audrey Nicole Catlett, daughter of Jerry and Cathy Catlett of Lexington, formerly of Winchester, became the bride of David Michael Pape in a 7 p.m. Mass on Friday, May 26, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Louisville.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Madget McCormick Cleveland of Frankfort and the late Roger Cleveland and the late Milton and Sarah Kathryn Catlett.

Pape is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Charles Pape Jr. of Louisville. He is the grandson of the late Marion and Mary Abell and the late Richard and Mary Pape.

Father Jack Conley and Father E. John Hilgert officiated at the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by an organist, a trumpeter and a vocalist. Lectors were Tom Sims of Louisville and Jenny Ditty of Nashville, Tenn.

Katie LaMonica of Lexington was greeter.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a designer A-line strapless gown of duchess silk sateen with pearl and crystal beading accents, ruched bodice and waist with a wrap-style back and silk flowers on the right side on the back of the gown that ended in a chapel-length train.

Her flare-cut, fingertip veil was held by an enamel floral comb embedded with crystals and pearls, and she carried a bouquet of peonies in shades of pink.

Natalee Gilmore of Louisville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shelby Strode of Columbia, S.C., Jennifer Edwards and Totty Edwards of Richmond, Va., Reagan Pruitt of Chapel Hill, N.C., Emily Schoenhoff of Louisville, Johanna Denger of Wilmore, and Catherine Elstner of Chicago.

Dr. Richard Abell Pape of Louisville served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Barker, Scott Weinert, Scott Curtis, brother-in-law, Jason Hulsewede, Robert DeSensi Jr. and Kevin Heake, all of Louisville, and Charles Sommer of San Francisco, Calif.

Neal Catlett of Louisville, brother of the bride, was usher.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Frazier Historical Museum in Louisville.

The bride is a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and attended Mary Baldwin College in Virginia. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is a member of the Junior League of Louisville and is sales manager for Dupont High Field Open MRI.

Pape, a graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Kentucky, is general manager of sales for First Omni Mortgage Lending.

After a wedding trip to the south of France, the couple are residing on Napoleon Boulevard in Louisville.

an Around-the-House shower on May 13 with Kevin Heuke, Jason Hulsewede and Scott Weinert as hosts at the Keuke home;

the bridesmaids' luncheon on May 26 given by Shelby and Kitty Strode at 211 Clover Lane in Louisville; and

the Catlett-Pape wedding rehearsal dinner at Buck's Restaurant in Louisville with parents of the bridegroom as hosts.
