KNIGHTS BEGIN FISH FRIES
The Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph Catholic Church have started hosting their annual fish fry fundraisers to benefit St. Agatha Academy, the church and local charities. Last week about 340 dinners were sold, and last night, the group sold homemade clam chowder and gumbo.
Next Friday night will be a fish fry, and the dinners will alternate between seafood soups and fish every other Friday night until Holy Week, according to Chris McGrath, one of the volunteers for the Knights.
The dinners are held from 5 till 8.
