Los Angeles (AP) - John Belushi, the beefy comedian who played a manic Samural warrior on TV's original "Saturday Night Live" and a slobby fraternity brother in the movie, "Animal House," apparently choked to death, says a security guard who saw the body. Belushi's body was found about 12:15 a.m. Friday in bed in a $200-a-day bungalow the 33-year-old actor rented behind the Chateau Marmont Hotel on Sunset Strip. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gov. John Y. Brown Jr. presented a check for $29,427.70 to Clark County Judge-Executive J.B. Allen Jr. for the county's monthly payment from the governor's three revenue sharing programs with local governments.

Roberta Skinner has assumed the duties of executive director of the Frontier Chapter of the American Red Cross covering Clark, Estill, Powell and Bourbon counties.

The snow from Saturday had just disappeared when residents of Clark County awoke Sunday morning to find another surprise, more snow. Although the snow did make driving hazardous, warming temperatures soon melted it from the highways and county roads.

The Clark County Democratic Woman's Club will represent its sixth annual style show and dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at Charlie Brown's, Venable Road. Approximately 22 local merchants are expected to participate in the event, which will include fashions for men, women, boys and girls. Mrs. Karen Espey is president of the sponsoring club.
