The George Rogers Clark JROTC Long Knife Regiment took third place in the annual Morehead State University Raider Challenge on Saturday. The competition against eight regional schools was composed of a color guard and squad drill competition, army physical fitness test, tug-of-war, the one-rope bridge and a cross-country obstacle course.
The Long Knives took first place in the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) with a team average of 268 of 300 points. Cadet Angela Hartmann took first place for the highest APFT female score at the competition.
