The Health Occupations Students of America Club (HOSA) at Lincoln is on its way to the spring leadership conference for a mix of competition and fun.
The group of approximately 20 members will be participating in the conference in Louisville at the Executive West Hotel and will be accompanied by advisor and health science teacher Jill Stone.
During the competition, the HOSA members will be competing in events such as: medical spelling, medical terminology, medical assisting, first aid/rescue breathing and more.
"I just want everyone to do their best and have fun," Stone said.
Club officers leading the leadership conference field trip are president Alissa Ellis, vice-president Lynsey Robbins, secretary Sabrina Spears, treasurer Jared Hardwick, parliamentarian Kayla Taylor and historian D'Nai Givens.
