Joe Parido, 17, a George Roger Clark High School senior, is Future Farmers of America Leader of the Month for March. Joe is president of the Clark County FFA Chapter and has attended the leadership training center. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Parido, Old Ruckerville Road.

Payton F. Adams, president of General Telephone of Kentucky since 1958, and a native of Winchester, has been promoted to corporate vice president of GTE World Headquarters in Hartford, Conn. He is the son of Mrs. Hazel Adams of College Street and the late Rev. P.F. Adams.

Eric Eiseman, Main Street Project director, has resigned his position to become executive director of the Oregon Preservation Center based in Portland, Ore.

A fashion show featuring Easter, spring and summer fashions will be presented in the ladies wear department of Wal-Mart at 2 p.m. Saturday. Models will include Sue Carpenter, Sandy Wilhoite, Kay Hall and Teresa Clem. The show is open to the public.

Pvt. Samuel Linville Woosley, son of Nelson and Hazel Woosley, Red River Road, recently finished basic military training at Fort Knox. A graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, he will be assigned to Aberdeen, Md. for advanced mechanics training.

Two orchestra students from Belmont Junior High School participated in the Kentucky Music Education Association Contest at the University of Kentucky Saturday. They were Kelly Sharp and Shelley Sharp.
