The engagement of Ashley Maines and Will Christopher, both of Winchester, is announced by her parents, Eddie and Donna Maines of Winchester and Charles and Melissa Burton of Houston, Texas.
Christopher is the son of T.C. and Terry Christopher, also of Clark County.
The bride-elect will graduate in May from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green with a degree in journalism.
Christopher, currently attending WKU, also will graduate in May and has accepted employment at the Warren County Water District as a geographic information systems technician.
The wedding will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Main Street in Winchester.
A reception will follow in St. Joseph's Hall.
