Groundbreaking set for Casey hospital
LIBERTY - Ground will be broken 2 p.m. Tuesday for construction of a new Casey County Hospital off Wolford and Montgomery streets.
The hospital board along with state and local officials are expected to attend.
Fundraiser benefits Middleburg school
LIBERTY - The local Pizza Hut on Wallace Wilkinson Boulevard will hold a fundraiser Tuesday for the old Middleburg School renovation project.
Residents are encouraged to eat pizza in or order carry-out and tell the person at the checkout counter they want the meal to go for the fundraiser. Twenty percent of the day's sales goes to the school's roof fund.

Danville City Commission - 5:30 p.m. Monday at city hall. Agenda items include apppoints to the beautification, P&Z and solid waste committees, contract for interim city manager and cemetery master plan.
Danville Board of Education - 6 p.m. Monday at board offices for a work session.
