May 01, 2007

Danville High School will present "And Then They Came For Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank," a play that follows the lives of two teenagers during the Holocaust.

The performance features live theater scenes that portray personal accounts of two teenagers, Ed and Eva (Matthew DeLuca and Elizabeth Trollinger), during the Holocaust. The live scenes feature their personal accounts of hiding, being sent to concentration camps, and their ultimate survival. These are interspersed with current videotaped interviews and war clips in this multi-media theatre piece. Audiences will see Eva and Ed as teens during the Holocaust and as the Holocaust survivors they are today.

The cast and crew feature Danville High School students: Elizabeth Tollinger, Matthew DeLuca, Chelsey Wood, John Patrick Allen, Logan Anderson, Caroline Crowley, Alec DeLuca, Amanda Moler, Natalie Wood, Ashley Howe, Hannah Kagan-Moore, Evan Avery, Maggie Tirey, Olivia Allen and students from the DHS Tech Theatre Club.
