Seven face drug charges in Casey

LIBERTY - Seven people were indicted April 16 on drug trafficking charges, according to documents filed in Casey Circuit Clerk Craig Overstreet's office. The sealed indictments were released Monday.

* Deirdre Lynn Fletcher, 45, of 72 Creston Water Spur, Liberty, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance; and trafficking in less than 8 ounces of marijuana, second or subsequent offense. She is accused of unlawfully trafficking in hydrocodone and marijuana in July. She is under a $5,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment 1 p.m. May 14 in Casey Circuit Court. State police Detective Alex Wesley and Trooper Mike Woodrum were grand jury witnesses.

* Jerry Wayne Threatt II, 29, of 555 Allen St., Liberty, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He is accused of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, oxycodone in July. No bond was listed. He is scheduled for arraignment 1 p.m. May 21. Woodrum was the grand jury witness.

* David L. Bryant, 52, 615 Martin Road, Liberty, cultivation of more than five plants of marijuana. He is accused of cultivating or harvesting marijuana in August 2005. He is under a $2,500 bond and scheduled for arraignment 1 p.m. May 14. State police Sgt. Gerald Wilson was the grand jury witness.

* Jamie C. Bryant, 28, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. Bryant is accused of trafficking in cocaine and hydrocodone in June. Bond was set at $5,000 and arraignment is set for 1 p.m. May 14. Woodrum was the grand jury witness.

* Mary Ann Hayes, 41, of 2206 Wilson Ridge Road, Liberty, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. She is accused of trafficking in hydrocodone in June. Her bond is $5,000 and she is scheduled for arraignment May 14. Woodrum was the grand jury witness.

* Shirley Goode, 68, of 717 Campbellsville St., Liberty, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He is accused of trafficking in hydrocodone in April 2006. His bond is $5,000 and arraignment is set 1 p.m. May 15. Woodrum was the grand jury witness.

* Joshua L. Dial, 21, Liberty, trafficking in marijuana in or near a school, and second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (buprenorphine). His bond is $5,000 and he will be arraigned 1 p.m. May 14. Woodrum was the grand jury witness.
