FARRELL D. BOWMAN

Farrell D. Bowman, 56, of 1647 Flanagan Station Road, husband of Libby Kuhl Swartz Bowman, died at 7:20 a.m. Friday at his home.

A native of Clark County, he was the son of Neville R. Bowman of Clark County and the late Alene Banks Bowman. He was a retired employee of Pittsburg Logistics and a former employee of the Clark County School System, a former employee of Agro-Fertilizer, a former employee of Southwestern Tobacco Company and a farmer. He was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church and the Clark County Fish & Game Club.

Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Bobbie Bowman of Clark County and Richard and Leslie Bowman of Prestonsburg; two stepchildren and their spouses, Amy and Ashley Pratt of Bourbon County and Marty and Karen Swartz of Georgetown; nine stepgrandchildren; a brother, Michael Bowman of Clark County; a nephew, Michael Scott Bowman and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Scobee Funeral Home by Bro. Ben Rake. Burial will be in Boonesboro Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Gardner Wagers, Carl Jennings, Berkley Marks, Everett Curry, James Pasley and Robert Allen Johnson; honorary pallbearers will be Daren Ovington, Terry White, Ray Caudill, Joseph Newton, Jake Johnson and Butch Faulkner.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday.

STEVEN LYNN WATTS

Steven Lynn Watts, 55, of 194 Schollsville Road, died at 9:10 a.m. Friday at Clark Regional Medical Center.

A native of Clark County, he was the son of Pauline Watts of Winchester and the late Lenwood Watts.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Dale Hanson. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of service.

IRENE MARY EWEN

An open house for all friends and relatives of Irene Mary Ewen, 79, of Lexington, will be held from 3 until 6 p.m. Sunday at 1888 Fort Harrod Drive in Lexington.

Ewen, widow of Ronald A. Ewen, died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

Private services are scheduled.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to a favorite charity.

DANNY RAY BIRCHUM

A gathering of family and friends of Danny Ray Birchum, 49, of 2510 Nest Egg Road, Mount Sterling, husband of Debbie Looney Birchum, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at his home.

Birchum, a native of Clark County and a retired truck driver, died Monday at his home.

Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals of Mount Sterling is in charge of arrangements.

KENNETH P. RIDER

Services for Kenneth P. Rider, 83, of 910 Stratton Lane, husband of Evelyn Keddy Rider, will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Eric Patterson.

Rider, a retired Fort Pierce, Fla., utilities maintenance mechanic, a former member of the Civil Defense and Police Association in Dearing, N.H., and an Army veteran of World War II, died at 11:16 p.m. Wednesday at Clark Regional Medical Center.

Services for Leonard Woosley Jr., 72, of 111 Holiday Road, husband of Elizabeth "Liz" Christopher Woosley, will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home by Paul A. Hollingsworth and Dr. Art Beasley. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Woosley, a retired toolmaker, retired employee of Sylvania of Winchester, member of Central Baptist Church and former member of the National Guard, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.

RUSSELL E. TACKETT

Graveside services for Russell E.Tackett, 65, of Erie Street in Olive Hill, husband of Diana Rance Tackett, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Olive Hill.

Tackett, brother of Phyllis Osborne of Winchester, died Wednesday in the Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

There will be no visitation.

Oney Funeral Home in Olive Hill is in charge of arrangements.
