Net XPress: Backyard Jungle a fun spot for kids to explore

May 28, 2007|SHEILA J. CLARK

Need some summer fun for adventurous kids? One detour that allows kids to have fun online and then continue to explore offline is called Backyard Jungle.

Backyard Jungle was designed to help kids explore the outdoors around them and around the U.S.A. They start at their computers, then they are sent off to investigate the things living in the natural environment around them, so it's fun and educational.

The site features challenges, games, photo uploads, lesson plans and more fun.
