WILLIAM FRANKLIN RECTOR
A celebration-of-life service for William F. Rector, 59, of Newark, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bruckner & Kishler Funeral Home, Newark. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
He died Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Winchester on Aug. 7, 1947 to Cora (Giles) Rector and Thelbert Gurvis Rector.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Naomi Jean "Jeannie" Rector of Newark; a son, William Mandell Rector of Newark; a daughter, Leah Michelle Schwartz of Newark and her husband, Bernie; a brother, Tommy Rector of Winchester and his wife, Lisa; two sisters, Carolyn Holland of Louisville and Teresa Pasley and her husband, Don, of Winchester; and three grandchildren, William Franklin, Thelbert Gurvis and Patricia Jean.
