IDA MAE TACKETT

Ida Mae Tackett, 94, of 200 Glenway Road, died Wednesday at the Winchester Center for Health and Rehabilitation after a long illness.

Born May 2, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Georgia Kemplin Bryant and widow of the late Curtis Ford Tackett. She was a retired vegetarian gardner and a member of the Winchester Church of Christ.

Survivors include her caretakers, Tom and Patty Edwards of Berea, and several friends at the Winchester Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Banfield and a daughter, Teresa Banfield.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. today at Scobee Funeral Home by Robert Speer. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in Stanton. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the Scobee Funeral Home.

NINA CHARLENE ALLEN

Nina Charlene Allen, 59, of 2403 Pilot View Road, wife of Glenn Allen, died at 4:05 p.m. Thursday at her home.

A native of Rockcastle County, she was the daughter of Nola M. Bullock of Winchester and the late Rev. James Bullock. She was a homemaker and a member of Franklin Avenue Church of the Living God.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Tom Hall. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. today until the hour of service. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

WILLIAM FRANKLIN RECTOR

A celebration-of-life service for William F. Rector, 59, of Newark, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Bruckner & Kishler Funeral Home, Newark. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Rector died Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Winchester on Aug. 7, 1947 to Cora (Giles) Rector and Thelbert Gurvis Rector.
