LIBERTY - Two men were charged Monday evening after they allegedly took a crosscut saw and single tree harness from a Ky. 49 residence, police said.
Robert Gerwitz, 45, of Lebanon Junction, and Shelby Nix, 41, of Shepherdsville, were charged with theft by unlawful taking under $300, according to a report by Deputy Sheriff Chad Weddle. The suspects were lodged in Casey County Detention Center.
The items were taken from the residence of Alice Passmore while she was away from home.
