Pleasant View to hold VBS

Pleasant View Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School June 25-29 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. All children and youth are invited.

McKinney Baptist to hold VBS

McKinney Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School June 24-29 beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night. A kick-off parade and ice cream will be held Saturday, June 23 at 1 p.m. For more information, call 346-5644 or 365-3268.

Stanford to hold VBS

Stanford Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School June 24-28 from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. with family night set for June 29 from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. The theme is Game Day Central: Where Heroes Are Made. Classes are available for babies to senior adults. For more information, call 365-2178.

Drakes Creek Baptist Church, Hwy. 39 North, will hold Vacation Bible School June 25-29 from 6 to 8:15 p.m. for ages 3 to pre-teen. The theme is Game Day Central: Where Heroes Are Made. For more information call 606-365-4976.

Calvary Hill Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School June 24-29 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. The theme is "Game Day Central: Where Heroes are Made." There will be classes for ages 3 through youth.

VBS at Stanford Free Pentecostal Church of God

Stanford Free Pentecostal Church of God will hold Vacation Bible School June 25-29 from 6:15-8:45 p.m. each night. There will be a special VBS Commencement Service on Saturday, June 30 at 7 p.m. The VBS theme is "God's Wonderful Book." There will be Bible lessons, games, stories, contests, songs, crafts, and surprises each night! All children and youth ages 5-15 are invited to attend. The Healing Rooms

Waynesburg Pioneer Day gospel singing

Waynesburg Pioneer Day will have its annual gospel singing on Saturday, June 23 at 6 p.m. There will be great singing and plenty of seating.

Imago Dei at New Beginnings UMC

Imago Dei is Latin for "Image of God." This is the name of a new contemporary worship service that meets at New Beginnings United Methodist Church on Sunday evenings at 6:30. The service features praise music. The good news of Jesus Christ is shared through story-telling, drama and personal testimony. A time of fellowship with snacks follows the service. Church at Cedar Creek

The Church at Cedar Creek, a new mission of the Lincoln County Baptist Association, is presently meeting at the Lincoln County Baptist Center, 4160 Hwy. 27 S. (at the foot of Halls Gap hill). Services begin at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday for praise and worship. Everyone welcome.

Manna delivering meals

Manna volunteers will be delivering meals on Monday, Dec. 18 which will be a Thanksgiving and a Christmas meal. All meals are delivered between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Manna is a free meal program offered to anyone in need, whatever their need, in the general Stanford area. Following these meals, Manna will not be delivering meals again until April when they will resume. If you are on the list, you will start receiving meals at that time again.
