Gastineaus to celebrate 60 years together

Russell and Gwen Ledford Gastineau of Lancaster will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Forks of Dix River Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. It will be hosted by their children.

They were married June 20, 1947, at the Mount Hebron Baptist Church parsonage by H.L. Ayres Sr.

They are the parents of two daughters, Rebecca Hacker and the late Carole Starnes, and two sons, Rick Gastineau and David Gastineau.

They have 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The couple requests no gifts.

Moxley-Hayes reunion set

The Moxley-Hayes reunion will be Friday and Saturday at Acton Retreat Center in Acton. A sing-a-long is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday and the meal will be noon Saturday. Attendees should bring their own lunch.

Ruritan club plans breakfast

Salvisa Ruritan Club will host the annual "All You Can Eat for $5" dairy breakfast 7-11 a.m. Saturday at the Salvisa Ruritan Club building. Proceeds will benefit the Salvisa Ruritan Scholarship Fund. Door prizes will be given away.
