Dear Editor,
In response to Roger Bowman's letter of July 5, I believe he needs desperately to look up the definition of "Army National Guard" and "Air National Guard" at www.Wikipedia.com.
Also, on Kentucky's website http://dma.ky.gov/ng/, it states: "The Kentucky Army National Guard has dual missions. The federal mission is to recruit, train and deploy military personnel and units anywhere in the world when ordered by the Department of Defense. The guard also stands ready to assist state agencies and local governments during disasters and emergencies declared by the governor."
