Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edgar Norton of Hampton Avenue celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary June 19.Mr. Norton, of Winchester, and the former Marion Francis Collings of Lebanon Junction, were married at the Methodist parsonage of Lebanon Junction.
Mr. Norton is a retired employee of the Postal Service with 28 years of service. Mrs. Norton retired from the Clark County Board of Education with 21 years of teaching.
The couple have one son and two daughters, Philip Collings Norton and daughter-in-law Jennie Norton; Amy Katherine and son-in-law Joe Holman and Nancy Ann and son-in-law Robert C. Hazelrigg. The couple also have six grandchildren, Jamie N. English, Emily H. Speed, Charles C. Hazelrigg, and Erin, Julie and Joseph Holman. They have five great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Lindsey Speed, Sam and Abby English, and Braden Hazelrigg.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hazelrigg hosted a family party to celebrate the couple's anniversary on June 30.
