Garrard grand jury indicts

LANCASTER - A Garrard County grand jury returned indictments Friday against the following people:

* Billy Wilson, 30, 2245 Buckeye Road, charged with first-degree assault when he struck Melinda Wilson with a bar stool on June 19. The defendant also is charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment by engaging in conduct that created a substantial danger to two minors. He also is charged with two counts of fourth-degree assault by causing physical injury to two minors.

Deputy Dave Amon was the witness. Bond was set at $25,000 cash.

* Melinda Wilson, 27, 2245 Buckeye Road, charged with first-degree assault for cutting Billy Wilson with a knife. She also is charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment by engaging in conduct that created a substantial danger to two minors, and two counts of fourth-degree assault by causing physical injury to two minors.

Deputy Amon was the witness. Bond was set at $10,000 cash.

* Joann Siler, 29, 45 Apt. 2, Public Square, charged with 22 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument by possessing forged checks from May 1 to June 30.

Lancaster Police Officer Rick Shearer was the witness. A summons was issued for a court appearance.

* Mark Foley, 38, currently in Lincoln County Detention Center, charged with flagrant nonsupport by refusing to pay court-ordered child support, in an arrearage in excess of $1,000.

Debbie Price was the witness. Bond was set at $15,000 cash.
