Dear Editor,
Mr. Harold Best poses a good question in his letter of Aug. 7 concerning "Keep fighting to protect marriage." Since state universities do receive tax dollar support, and since the 2004 Marriage Protection Amendment did pass, why hasn't the Kentucky attorney general's office investigated the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky as to their handling of this act? Perhaps Gov. Fletcher's office needs to be asking that question. Could it be that Stumbo is counting votes again for his next political bid for some public office?
