Chester Franklin Cobb Jr., 55, husband of Amy Jo Cobb, of Vineyard Road, died Aug. 10,. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, an employee of CMC Inc., and a member of the Jessamine County Antique Farm Machinery Association. He was the son of Chester F. Cobb Sr. and the late Elsie Trebolo Cobb, additional survivors include two daughters, Cassity and her husband Michael Newland of Nicholasville, and Lauren Ashley Cobb of Nicholasville, three grandchildren, Victoria Miller, Kelci Newland and Hunter Kidwell, two sisters, Sharon Guy and Pamela and her husband Danny Davidson, nieces and nephews, Rebecca Guy and Haley Sammons, Jarred, Keila and Harley Davidson, a mother-in-law, Irene Moss, brother-in-law and his children, Cecil Moss, Celia and Michael Moss, a sister-in-law, Sara Moss. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ray C. Moss. Services were 11 a.m. Monday at Edgewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Sholar officiating. Visitation was from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial was in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers were Michael Newland, Clay Kidwell, John K. Howard, Jimmie Peel, Jim Jarvis, J. F. Hall, Owen Rhineheimer and Cecil Moss. Honorary bearers will be Tara Hayden's Sunday School class, Rodney and Danny Moss, Tom East and Clay Corman.
