GREENUP - A night of blues will kick off the Colonel Bill Williams Greenup Music Heritage Festival, bringing some of the nation's best artists together at the amphitheater at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park. The night will feature KY B3 4, Greg Schaber and Rory Block. The festival will continue throughout the weekend with country and Bluegrass music on Saturday, Aug. 18, and inspirational music on Sunday, Aug 19. LEXINGTON - Bluegrass PRIDE (Personal Responsibility In a Desirable Environment) will host its third annual Bluegrass Summer Soire: A Celebrity Benefit for Bluegrass PRIDE at Fasig-Tipton, 2400 Newtown Pike in Lexington. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. and include dinner served by local celebrities and a silent auction.
