Rafael Little
During Kentucky's last six games last year, Little helped spark Kentucky's rushing attack. A seasoned and experienced Little should provide more memorable moments in the backfield this year. Of course Little needs to stay away from injuries.
Keenan Burton
Burton rounds out Kentucky's "ARK" (Andre, Rafael and Keenan), otherwise known as the team's top three offensive weapons. Coach Rich Brooks said Burton is better than a year ago, which makes the future NFL star even more dangerous.
Wesley Woodyard
Although injured at the moment, Woodyard should be back in time to make a big impact on defense. Woodyard, a weak side linebacker, will be counted on to provide some more big hits this season.
Trevard Lindley
As a freshman, Lindley was among the league's top young prospects and more will be expected out of him this time around. Look for Lindley to improve on last year's numbers, which included 12 pass deflections and a pair of interceptions.
Marcus McClinton
Aside from his musical talents, McClinton is a key part of Kentucky's secondary. McClinton is an emotional leader, who will carry a secondary stocked with young talent.
Dicky Lyons
Another big piece of machinery in Kentucky's receiving corps. Lyons could get more than his share of receptions, especially if opposing defenses zero in on Burton.
Jeremy Jarmon
and Myron Pryor
A key part of the team's defensive line, Jarmon and Pryor will anchor the trenches. Pryor collected five sacks a year ago while playing through a barrage of injuries.
Tony Dixon
One good running back is good, but having two capable of making a big play at any given time is a plus. Dixon will be counted on to complement Little in the backfield.
Garry Williams
For an offensive line that is virtually an unproven unit at this point, Williams, a junior tackle will provide leadership for others to follow. There also have been whispers about Zipp Duncan and Eric Scott during fall workouts.
