Dear Editor,
I would like to thank everyone who was involved in making Rock Da Ville a tremendous success. The steering committee has been one of the most dedicated groups I have ever worked with, giving countless hours to plan the event. Last Saturday, we saw close to 300 volunteers working together to provide a safe, fun and free event for our youth.
Countless businesses and individuals showed their support through financial and product donations. Without you, Rock Da Ville would not have happened.
Finally, I can not thank the area churches enough for working together to provide guidance, meals and giving much of the funding for this event. It was a wonderful experience to sit around the table with area business and church leaders planning an event just for our youth.
