Rebecka Lynn Townsend and Adam Shane Haggard exchanged marriage vows at 3 p.m. on Aug. 4, at the Church of the Living God.
The bride is the daughter of Michael York of Winchester and Susan Layton of Lexington. Mr. Haggard is the son of Joy Shelley of Montgomery County and Belvin Haggard of Winchester.
The Rev. Ron Ingram officiated at the ceremony, and music was provided by Matthew Hall.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandmother, Brenda Townsend of Winchester.
Jessica Haggard, daughter of the bridegroom, was maid of honor and Samantha Haggard, daughter of the bridegroom, and Christie Townsend, niece of the bride, were flower girls. Anthony Forjone, son of the bride, was ring bearer.
Derek Fallen served Mr. Haggard as best man.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church.
The bride, a homemaker, is a 2002 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School.
