Paulene Peel Foster, 72, of Richmond Avenue, died Thursday, Aug. 23, at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. A native of Jessamine County she was born Nov. 5, 1934, to the late Morris Jr. and Emmaline Lowry Peel. She was the widow of James Foster who died in 1987. Survivors include her two daughters, Marsha Reynolds and companion Walter Perrin, Susan Clem and husband John, seven grandchildren Phillip Williams, Kelly Wilson and husband Craig, James Neil Reynolds and wife Rebecca, Patrick Reynolds, Andrew Clem and wife Kylie, Adam Clem and David Clem, five great-grandchildren Danielle Clem, Aubrey Clem, Natalie Reynolds, Savannah Seivers, and Hadley Wilson, two sisters Dorothy Duncan and husband Robert and Barbara Bowman and husband Billy, brothers-in-law Delton House, Jesse Back, and Nelson Foster and wife Carrie Jane, sister-in-law Margie Webb and husband Roy and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jackie Williams, two sisters Mary Ruby House and Alene Back, mother-in-law Lizza Mae Foster, nephew Rob Duncan, and her life-long friend Mae Etta Preston. Services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Bales officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randall House, William "Bubby" Bowman, Chuck Bowman, Rick Duncan, James Neil Reynolds, and David Clem. Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 26, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
