The Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary continues to grow and recently added its 200th member. Sandy Stapp, a coder in the Health Information Management Department at Fort Logan Hospital, became the Auxiliary's 200th member when she joined the group on Aug. 30.
The Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary provides a number of services to the hospital. These include greeting all visitors and assisting patients through an information desk, a gift shop in the hospital's lobby, a music therapy service and a pillow talk service, which provides pillows used by patients recovering from surgery.
Membership is open to anyone who has time to volunteer. There is no minimum time required for volunteering. Individuals may also support the auxiliary with a membership even if they don't have time to participate in one of the group's service projects.
